About Us

African Women for a Better Tomorrow (AWBT) is a non-profit organization that is focused on empowering African women, children and communities through education, skill acquisition, mentorship and community support. Our goal is to create opportunities that inspire confidence, independence, leadership, and lasting positive change. Through various empowerment initiatives and outreach programs, we strive to support women in building better futures for themselves and the next generation.

At African Women for a Better Tomorrow, we are committed to making a meaningful impact by promoting growth, equality, and hope for a better tomorrow.

Meet Our Founder

Mrs. Linda Ihesiaba while growing up witnessed the oppression, inequality and limited access to proper education systems faced by lots of women in Nigeria and around the world. These experiences inspired her to form this organisation on December 19th, 2015, with the aim of giving women around the world hope and confidence while also providing oppurtunities for them to be independent individuals capable of taking care of themselves and their families. What started as a dream to make a difference has continued to grow into a platform committed to uplifting and empowering women for a better tomorrow.

Our Mission

AWBT is solely focused on inspiring, empowering and equipping women with the right tools and opportunities to grow, achieve their dreams and become leaders that can create positive change in their communities and families.

Our Vision

To build a future where women have equal oppurtunities and resources to thrive in our modern society.
