Mrs. Linda Ihesiaba while growing up witnessed the oppression, inequality and limited access to proper education systems faced by lots of women in Nigeria and around the world. These experiences inspired her to form this organization on December 19th, 2015, with the aim of giving women around the world hope and confidence while also providing oppurtunities for them to be independent individuals capable of taking care of themselves and their families. What started as a dream to make a difference has continued to grow into a platform committed to uplifting and empowering women for a better tomorrow.

AWBT is solely focused on inspiring, empowering and equipping women with the right tools and opportunities to grow, achieve their dreams and become leaders that can create positive change in their communities and families.
I am grateful to AWBT for providing me with the necessary capital I needed to begin my sewing business. Because of their aid, I am able to my provide for my household while also contributing to the support of my children's academic journeys.
Thanks to AWBT, I am able to obtain a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, helping me support my community and the world at large curb the effects of poor nutrition and improving the health of the African population and the world as a whole.
AWBT gave me the confidence and skills i needed to start my business and take care of my family via their entrepreneurship programs.
Through the training programs, I gained valuable skills that helped me gain lots of opportunities in the work force.
